How to Invest

Built for serious capital.

Apollo's funds are available only to wholesale clients. This is a legal category, not a description of experience or wealth alone.

Who Can Invest

Wholesale client qualification

Under section 761G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), most private investors qualify through one of two routes. The product value test is met where at least A$500,000 is invested in a single financial product. The net assets and income test is met where a qualified accountant certifies that you have net assets of at least A$2.5 million, or gross income of at least A$250,000 in each of the last two financial years. Certificates are valid for two years.

Apollo cannot accept an application from a retail client. If you are not sure which category applies to you, speak with your accountant or licensed adviser before proceeding.

Net assets of at least A$2.5 million, or gross income of at least A$250,000 per year for each of the last two financial years — certified by a qualified accountant. Certificate valid for two years.

A professional investor, including an AFS licensee, a body regulated by APRA, a trustee of a superannuation fund with net assets of at least A$10 million, or a listed entity.

A sophisticated investor under section 761GA where a licensee forms and documents the required opinion.

Companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds assessed on the same tests, applied to the entity.

The Application Process

Five steps, typically completed within two to three weeks.

01

Confirm your eligibility

Provide a qualified accountant's certificate, or confirm that the product value test will be met. We record the basis on which you qualify before anything else happens.

02

Read the Information Memorandum

We send the current Information Memorandum for the fund you are considering, together with the trust deed on request and the most recent audited financial statements. Please read the document in full, including the fees and risks sections.

03

Complete the application and identification

Return the signed application form with the identification documents required under Australian anti-money laundering law. For companies and trusts this extends to beneficial owners and controlling persons.

04

Transfer the application money

Funds are transferred to the fund's application account. We will confirm the account details separately and never by unsolicited email. If you receive a message changing our banking details, telephone us before acting on it.

05

Receive your unit confirmation

Units are issued at the applicable unit price and a holding statement is sent to you. For the Apollo Investment Management Fund this occurs on the Application Day; for the Master Fund, within 15 business days of month end.
